1. The Coaster Experience
The Rocky Top Mountain Coaster is not just another mountain coaster, but an entire new experience for the entire family! The ride is situated on more than 20 acres of stunning Smoky Mountain scenery and features an action-packed layout of tunnels, curves and hairpin turns! One of the things that makes the Rocky Top Mountain Coaster so unique is that it features 4 lift hills, which gives you just enough time to catch your breath before the 4 drops! The entire ride lasts more than 9 minutes and is sure to be a highlight of your Pigeon Forge vacation, so ride once or enjoy a discount for a second ride!
2. Ride Restrictions
Although there are a few restrictions, most family members will be able to ride this new mountain coaster in Pigeon Forge! Children who are between the ages of 3 and 6 must ride with someone 16 or older who is controlling the sled. The height requirement for a solo rider is 56 inches, while the maximum height to ride is 84 inches. If riding along with a friend or family member, the height requirement is 38 inches while the person controlling the sled has to be 56 inches tall and at least 16 years old. Each of the sleds can safely hold up to 375 pounds in dry conditions and 330 pounds in wet weather conditions.
3. Operating Hours and Location
The Rocky Top Mountain Coaster is open during the day and at night, so ride twice for a completely different experience! The daytime rides provide phenomenal views of the Smoky Mountains, while the night rides feature magnificent lights that guide you along the track!
